For over 30 years, Reynolds Lake Oconee has been known as a golfer’s paradise. With 117 world-class holes of golf along with the elite club fitting and instructional facility known as Reynolds Kingdom of Golf presented by TaylorMadeReynolds Kingdom of Golf presented by TaylorMade, it’s not hard to see why.
However, the community rests along the banks of Georgia’s second-largest lake, is home to a top-ranked tennis facility, four full-service marinas, a sporting grounds complete with a clay shooting course and five-stand, 21 miles of biking and walking trails, and numerous fitness centers and pools, making it much more than just a golf community. That’s why buying a lakefront, lake access, wooded, or golf front property here is a dream come true for most people.
“With so many options for buying from new construction to newly released lots, there is a lot of information to consider unique to Reynolds Lake Oconee,” says Lee Arberg, Senior Vice President of Sales at Reynolds Lake Oconee, who has over 20 years of experience selling this illustrious community.
Arberg shares his experience by making the following recommendations:
- Reynolds Lake Oconee has a much broader selection of homes and homesites than most other communities. As a result, it is important to keep an open mind when starting your quest for the perfect property. Many times customers first visiting our community have a pre-set vision of what they are looking for. It often turns out that there is a property that is even better than what they had previously envisioned.
- Once you buy, get involved in the community. It is really easy to make new friends and to start engaging in a wide range of activities. The Moments bi-monthly newsletterMoments bi-monthly newsletter is the best place to start, and sign up quickly since many events are very popular and may have limited space. Remember that everyone else was once new to our community at some point, and they are welcoming and very friendly.
- Don’t be afraid to try new things. I often hear from our new Members that for the first time in their lives they are doing things they have always dreamed about but never had the time or gumption to get it going. This is particularly true with volunteer work, mentoring, or taking advantage of cultural activities. The opportunity is here, and after all that is probably one of the reasons you are considering Reynolds.
- Plan on friends and family members wanting to visit. Reynolds is a particularly family-friendly community. Our Membership plan provides a multitude of ways for family members to get involved and engage in all that Reynolds has to offer. As an example, my daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons moved to Reynolds from Atlanta because they enjoyed our lifestyle so much for their own family!
