WITH THE ADDITION of the new Richland course, Reynolds Lake Oconee has reinforced its case for being one of the top golf destinations and communities in the nation. With its ideal location — a one-hour drive from the heart of Atlanta and 90 minutes to the gates of Augusta National — and a pristine lake as the centerpiece, Reynolds easily qualifies as golf heaven for anyone who swings a 9-iron.
The new Tom Fazio-designed course gives Reynolds another addition to its deep bench. Fazio had already designed 27 holes of The National course — nine of which was known as The Bluff course. Those holes were broken away and added to the new nine to create Richland.
