Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to recognize the most recent recipients of the annual Employee Awards for their integrity, exceptional quality, and commitment to the company. “The core of Reynolds Lake Oconee is the hard-working and extraordinary employees who live our core values and standards each day,” says Rabun Neal, President of Reynolds Lake Oconee. “These awards are our chance to recognize those people for their service.”
Tracy Corry, Snack Bar Rec Steward, was awarded the title of Employee of the Year, while Glenda Martin, Resale Manager, was recognized as Leader of the Year. Traci Johnson was honored as Sales Executive of the Year and Chip Perry, Most Valuable Producer for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties. Sam Lanzarone and Kia Trott, received the 2023 “Helping Hand” Award. It was also a special night honoring our 35-year employees: Eddie Brown, Mary Cronic, and Scott Hoersten.
For 25 years, Tracy Corry has worked at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Tracy has been an integral part of the success of the Great Waters Snack Bar. He makes sure the restaurant is stocked and has exactly what is needed by everyone for daily operations. Without his hard work, knowledge, dedication, and positive attitude, it would not be possible for the operation to run smoothly and efficiently.
“The best part of my job is meeting new people and working in such a beautiful place where I can learn new things,” says Corry. “I love having a job that offers security and wonderful benefits.”
When not keeping Great Waters Snack Bar operations running at full speed, you can find Tracy enjoying his time away from work on the water fishing, and doing anything that keeps him outdoors in nature.
Glenda Martin joined the Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties Resale Team in 2019. Glenda has an innate ability to listen actively and empathetically, ensuring that each team member is well-trained in real estate laws, rules, and regulations.
“What I love about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with the individuals I work alongside daily,” Martin says. “Reynolds is an outstanding workplace, thanks to the remarkable clients we assist, my dedicated teammates and colleagues, and the exceptional management team. Being a part of the real estate industry is truly fulfilling, and I am fortunate to do so in this amazing community.”
In her spare time, Glenda enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite days are at the beach with David, her husband of 25 years, Trinity, her daughter, and two dogs, Sparkles and Bella.
Traci Johnson and her husband, Jeff, followed their dream after becoming empty nesters and settled into the lake lifestyle. She joined the Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties team in 2019. Traci’s biggest accomplishment to date is consecutively holding the honor of Salesperson of the Year for 2022 and 2023 for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties, closing over $32M in sales last year as per the Lake Country Board MLS.
After relocating to Reynolds Lake Oconee, Traci fell in love with the “Rhythm of Reynolds” and all it afforded her family. As a dedicated Sales Executive to the Reynolds community, she is thankful to be able to share her “home” with others so they, too, can discover an extraordinary life.
Outside of making home dreams come true, Traci and Jeff travel often to visit their six kids and six grandkids spread throughout the country. In her free time, you’ll find her cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, painting, and serving as an Advisory Board Member for Make-A-Wish Georgia.
Chip Perry’s parents bought a lake lot on Lake Oconee shortly after Georgia Power dammed the Oconee River in 1979 to create the lake, he grew up learning to fish and ski on Lake Oconee. Days were spent fishing in the morning and skiing behind the same bass boat by afternoon. From these experiences, he has a comprehensive knowledge of Reynolds and Lake Oconee.
Chip joined the Reynolds Properties team in January 2015. During his time with Reynolds, he has won numerous awards, Reynolds Salesperson of the Month for May and June 2023, multiple Million Dollar Producer, and Top Producer awards from the Lake Country Board of Realtors. “What a great 2023 this has been, with 33 transactions and over $24M in sales, my knowledge of Reynolds Lake Oconee along with my negotiation skills sets me apart from other agents,” Perry says. “Clients will know that their best interest is my top priority.”
Passionate about lake life, boating, and water sports Perry enjoys living the life he loves with his wife, Tina, and sons, Jackson and Alex. Chip enjoys quail hunting with his Weimaraner. Perry and his family are active members at Lakeside Church.
The Reynolds Lake Oconee community is bursting with pride as we celebrate Sam Lanzarone and Kai Trott, our esteemed 2023 Helping Hands Award recipients!
Sam Lanzarone, Coordinator in the Golf Operations department, dedication to the Putnam County High School Baseball team is nothing short of phenomenal. She spearheaded the creation of the "Dugout Club," a booster organization that has transformed the program.
