Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Third Quarter Employee Awards for 2019. Susan Ladner, Controller, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Laura Rowland, Administrative Assistant, and Edna Ogletree, Staff Accountant and Payroll, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Susan Ladner has worked in the golf and country club environment for over 14 years. As Controller, Ladner’s humble leadership inspires her team at Reynolds to pursue excellence and produce timely, accurate, high-quality work.
“Every day at Reynolds is unique and offers ample opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of something meaningful,” says Ladner. “It is wonderful to work with a group of people continuously striving to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional quality in all that we do.”
In her spare time, Ladner enjoys supporting her daughter, Shelby, in her sports and activities. She also enjoys spending time outdoors.
Laura Rowland has been a loyal employee of Reynolds for over 30 years. Starting as Housekeeping manager in 1989, Rowland has held several positions in guest services during her tenure. With a long history in real estate, Rowland now serves as Administrative Assistant for the Sales department.
“The best part of working at Reynolds is my fellow employees and the friends I have made,” says Rowland. “My job here is always challenging and interesting, and allows me to meet many different people.”
Rowland and her husband, Jim, are proud parents of one dog and eight cats. When not tending to their fur-babies, Rowland enjoys reading, gardening, and is an avid birdwatcher.
Edna Ogletree has worked at Reynolds for 18 years. She loves her fellow coworkers, and the satisfaction of knowing that her work makes a difference.
“We have some of the best, most hard-working people here at Reynolds,” says Ogletree. “The best part of my day is interacting with my coworkers; at the end of the day, they are my family.”
Ogletree is a devoted mother to her son, Eric, and daughter, Kala Jo. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at home with her family. A lover of flowers and plants, gardening and working in her yard are two of her favorite pastimes.
