Reynolds Lake Oconee is proud to announce the recipients of its Third Quarter Employee Awards for 2016. Oliver Wilcher, Director of Restaurant Services has been named Leader of the Quarter while both AJ Warner, Course Advisor at The Landing, and Johnny Greene Sr., Golf Course Foreman at Great Waters, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
After graduating college, Oliver Wilcher moved to Lake Oconee and started his food and beverage career at The Ritz-Carlton. He then decided to focus on club management working at the Harbor Club before joined Reynolds in April 2015.
“My favorite thing about being the Director of Restaurant Services at Reynolds is that I get to do something different every day,” says Wilcher. “Whether it is creating a new wine list, training staff, hosting a special event or being part of regular lunch or dinner service, I enjoy taking on new projects and getting to see them through.”
In his spare time, Wilcher enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah and children Hallie and Hutton. He also loves doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he says it has been a huge part of his life for the past 8 years. Not only does he enjoys training jiu jitsu but also enjoys teaching it at a gym in Milledgeville.
AJ Warner joined Reynolds after working for a precision elastomeric molding company for over 31 years. He started as an electronics technician before becoming a systems integrator, a facility engineer, a co-plant manager, and finally a consultant for three years.
“I love the wonderful people and colleagues in this paradise setting at Reynolds,” says Warner. “I have a lot of guests that tell me the course is magnificent, which means I get to be the face for the hard work of golf maintenance.
When he is not working, Warner enjoys playing his vibraphone and listening to music. He also enjoys fishing, jogging, grilling, and traveling with his wife, Joy.
After working for Nibco Manufacture, Johnny Greene Sr. joined the Reynolds Lake Oconee team in April of 1998.
“I really enjoy the people and family environment at Reynolds,” says Greene. “I love working outdoors and that my job gives me ability to make decisions on my own.”
In his spare time, Greene enjoys sports, yard work, and helping others when needed.
