Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Second Quarter Employee Awards for 2022. Steve Pinheiro, Director of Platinum Dining, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Ron Huff, Delivery Driver, and Ciara Maroschak, Beverage Cart Attendant/Golf Shop Clerk, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Steve Pinheiro has been with Reynolds for over eight years. He attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville and received a degree in History. He planned on teaching after college but was working at Reynolds during that time and fell in love with it.
Steve’s enthusiastic attitude and energy lights up any room, and he gets a lot of gratification from teaching and coaching his team. He’s always there with words of wisdom or gentle corrections, his advice is always sound and comes from a genuine place of care, not only for the operations but for the employees too.
“The favorite part of my job is the relationships you get to build with Membership and creating lasting memories for them,” Pinheiro says. “Whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or just a date night—we are creating forever memories for our Members.”
In his free time, Steve loves watching sports, movies, and spending time with my family, especially his wonderful wife Susan and their two sweet cats, Evey and Shadow.
Ron Huff joined the Cellar Wine team in June 2021. Before joining Reynolds, he was a paraprofessional for the Baldwin County Board of Education.
“It certainly has been a change in pace, trying to learn about all the different types of wines," says Huff. “What I like most about the job is learning how the wines are made and how the same grapes can taste completely different based on the region they were grown in.”
Huff enjoys playing sports, doing yard work, sharing the good news as a Jehovah's Witness, and spending time with his family and wife, Jessica.
Ciara Maroschak is a hardworking employee for the Golf Operations at Creek Club. In the last two and half years, working dual roles, you will find her either around the course on the Beverage Cart or in the Golf Shop. She is also currently a student studying marketing at Georgia College and State University.
“The best part of my job is meeting new people and working at such a beautiful place, in such an inclusive environment, where I am able to learn new things” says Maroschak. “Working at Reynolds has allowed me to get an insight on how Marketing is applied to the real world.”
When not working at The Creek Club, you can find Ciara on the lake, wake surfing, hanging out with family and friends, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Ciara volunteers her time through her Sorority, Delta Zeta, for their philanthropy, and she enjoys spending her time with her one-year old goldendoodle named Malibu.
