Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Second Quarter Employee Awards for 2018. Brian Baker, Director of Marina Operations, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Lynn Fox, Human Resources, and Nick Burke, Banquet Captain, have been named Employees of the Quarter.

Brian Baker worked as both a General Manager and Regional Manager for a large marina group, overseeing an area spanning from Maryland to Georgia, before joining the Reynolds team in 2016. Now as the Director of Marina Operations, Baker enjoys the relationships he has formed with his fellow employees, Members, and guests.

“I have the pleasure of working with a great group of people at the marinas that all share a common goal of helping everyone enjoy their time at Reynolds,” says Baker. “I wake up every day excited to come to work and see people having a blast.”

When not getting Members out on the water, Baker spends as much time as he can with his wife, Beth, and daughter, Harper, 7. They enjoy riding bikes, fishing, swimming, and spending time on the Lake Oconee. Baker also has a passion for cooking and playing the drums.

Previously working in Human Resources for the Macon County Board of Education in Franklin, NC, Lynn Fox relocated to Georgia and began working for Reynolds three years ago. Fox interacts daily with newly hired employees and lends assistance to many current employees.

“I love the work atmosphere of Reynolds, which is always positive and upbeat,” says Fox. “I am happy to help promote this friendly environment with new and existing employees, who are always very grateful when I am able to help them.”

When not assisting employees, Fox enjoys spending time outdoors and on the golf course with her husband, Doyle, and son, Zane. She has several hobbies, including photography and playing a range of musical instruments from the piano to the autoharp.

Nick Burke began working at Reynolds in April 2017, after three years of playing football for The University of West Georgia on scholarship. He started as a banquet server and was promoted to Banquet Captain after four months. Burke values the changing scenery of his position.

“I enjoy interacting with the Members, and being able to help make the most of their experiences,” says Burke. “The constant change of events keeps me intrigued and infatuated with my job itself.”

When not executing events across Reynolds, Burke spends time with his mother, Melissa, father, Roderick, and three younger sisters, Jada, Jordyn, and Jasmine. He plays basketball at his local gym and video games.
