Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Quarterly Employee Awards for 2024. Sarah Neuss-Sama, Accounting Manager, has been named Leader of the Quarter, Brandy Williamson, Snack Bar Attendant, Golf Operations Oconee, and Ricky Duvall, Turf Equipment Technician, at The Landing, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Sarah was recognized for her exceptional leadership and dedication in guiding her team through a significant transition in the Member’s Club Accounts payment process. This change, which involved discontinuing credit card payments, presented a complex challenge.
Sarah's team, under her leadership, not only successfully navigated this change but also provided exceptional customer service to members. They communicated promptly, professionally, and politely, ensuring a smooth transition. Additionally, the team went above and beyond by offering personalized assistance to members in setting up new payment options on their electronic devices.
Sarah's commitment to excellence and her ability to inspire her team are truly commendable, her leadership during this transition has had a positive impact on both our members and our organization.
When asked about her time at Reynolds, Sarah shared her appreciation for the family-like atmosphere and the opportunity to research and resolve complex issues. Prior to joining Reynolds in 2017, she gained valuable experience working at BankSouth for 14 years.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family and pursuing outdoor activities, particularly horseback riding. She is married to Joe Sama and they are proud parents to their daughter, Dahlia.
With an impressive 30-year tenure with Reynolds, Brandy Williamson has become an integral part of the community. She cherishes the meaningful connections she has forged with members over the years, watching many grow up and start their own families.
Brandy’s positive attitude and commitment to exceptional service have been invaluable, especially during the busy Masters week and throughout the year. She has gracefully handled the challenges of increased traffic and adapted seamlessly to the recent improvements made to the snack bar.
Brandy’s dedication to her role and her ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests are truly admirable. Her positive impact on our operations is evident, and we are fortunate to have her as a member of our Reynolds Family.
When not working, Brandy enjoys spending time on her family farm, supporting her daughter at horse shows, and simply being outdoors. She is married to Travis and is the proud parent of their daughter, Cora.
Ricky Duvall, with over 30 years of experience in the golf industry and nearly a decade at Reynolds, Ricky's dedication and expertise are undeniable. Growing up on a family farm, he developed a deep understanding of equipment and maintenance, skills that have served him well throughout his career.
Ricky's positive attitude and commitment to excellence have made him a beloved member of the Landing golf course maintenance team. He consistently goes above and beyond, from performing weekly sprays and maintaining equipment to volunteering to rake bunkers on weekends. His proactive approach to problem-solving ensures that challenges are addressed promptly and efficiently. His dedication to his work, his positive attitude, and his commitment to providing exceptional service make him an outstanding employee.
In his spare time, Ricky enjoys playing golf and spending time with his three grown children.
Ricky's family has a rich history at Reynolds, with his mother being recognized as Employee of the Year in 1991. Following in her footsteps, Ricky continues to uphold the high standards of excellence that have made Reynolds Lake Oconee a premier destination.
