Reynolds Lake Oconee is proud to announce the recipients of its Fourth Quarter Employee Awards for 2015. James McDuffie, Director of Facilities Maintenance, has been named Leader of the Quarter while both Dorothy Wallace, Lead Wellness Receptionist, and Allen Garland, HVAC Technician, have been names Employees of the Quarter.

Prior to joining Reynolds, James McDuffie worked as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Plant Operations at Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, GA. There he directly managed the Engineering, Security and Communications Departments.

“Reynolds property and facilities are already so beautiful,” says McDuffie. “I love that in my position, I am able able to implement systems that continue to maintain and improve these facilities and other assets.”

In his spare time, McDuffie likes to enjoy the lake and spend time with his family; wife Sherry, daughter Jordan, step-son Alan, and pets Marilyn and Presley.

McDuffie is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager; he was the first CHFM in the history of Oconee Regional Medical Center. He is also a part of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and really enjoys helping anyone in need.

Dorothy Wallace found Reynolds when she was getting out of High School and into College. Still figuring out her goals when arriving, Reynolds helped Wallace realize that real estate is something she intends to pursue in the future.

“I love meeting so many great people who live here and visit from all over the world,” says Wallace. “I also enjoy working with a fabulous team, who are always supportive and willing to help out.”

When she is not working, Wallace enjoys cooking, painting, spending time with her husband Victor, daughter Camila and dogs Cody and Max, party planning, and riding motorcycles. They participate in charity rides at least three times a year.

Allen Garland joined the Reynolds team after working 15 years as an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a commercial refrigeration company, Kysor Warren.

“I love being around the beautiful property and landscapes and meeting all the great employees and members at Reynolds,” says Garland. “My job is always fun and exciting because I work on such a vast variety of projects.”

Garland has a wide variety of hobbies including hunting, fishing, camping and anything he can do outside to spend time with his family. He also enjoys volunteering to coach and help out any organization his children are a part of. His favorite is being involved in the scholastic shooting sports foundation where he just received his level 1 NRA coaching certificate. Garland has been married to his wife, Teena, for 24 years and has two sons, Brice and Baylor, and one daughter, Blaine.
