Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its First Quarter Employee Awards for 2024. Frank Brennan, Director of Learning, Leadership & Organization Development, has been named Leader of the Quarter, Brooke Newsome, Marketing Coordinator, and Chris Jarrette, Lead Bartender, ESSĒ Restaurant, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Frank Brennan, with seven years of dedicated service, has become an invaluable asset to the company, particularly in employee development. Frank’s energy permeates and inspires each team member at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
His passion for the growth and development of all team members is undeniable. His training programs have an overwhelmingly positive effect on the company culture. “Reynolds Lake Oconee takes their development seriously,” says Frank. “They don’t overproduce and sacrifice quality over mass quantity. They are strategic and excellent stewards of the land and legacy entrusted to them. Being in the people development industry, I appreciate this from the real estate perspective.”
“I have enormous freedom to be creative and try things out,” says Frank “My personal goal is to help employees access their deepest potential while employed with Reynolds. I see people connect with content I’ve shared or an experience I put together and see them change their lives. Not just professionally, but sometimes personally.”
Frank is a dedicated professional who brings a wealth of experience to Reynolds. Before joining the team, he was a learning and development manager for the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. He recently earned a Master’s Degree in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development from the University of Georgia, further enhancing his expertise.
Frank is a devoted family man and active community member. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their daughters, Imma and Lucy. As a former youth minister, he continues to be involved in youth programs and is passionate about inspiring the next generation.
Brooke Newsome has been a shining star at Reynolds since joining in May 2023. Initially contributing to the golf retail team, her talent and dedication quickly led to a transfer to the Marketing Department. Her positive energy and quick adaptability have made her an invaluable asset to the company.
Brooke is a true inspiration and a valuable member of the Reynolds team. She consistently demonstrates exceptional creativity, efficiency, and dedication as Marketing Coordinator. Her ability to swiftly tackle challenges, improve processes, and her willingness to step into new roles when necessary is appreciated.
Before joining Reynolds, Brooke honed her skills in the golf industry while pursuing a degree in digital marketing at Reinhardt University. Her experience as a collegiate golfer and involvement in various golf shops has equipped her with a deep understanding of the industry and a strong foundation for her current role.
Brooke enjoys staying active through playing golf and workouts. She also finds relaxation and inspiration through reading. Her well-rounded interests contribute to her fresh perspective and enthusiasm for life.
With over 12 years of dedicated service, Chris Jarrette has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment and enthusiasm for his role. He always goes above and beyond to ensure each Member and guest has a positive experience when dining at the newly remodeled restaurant, ESSĒ. His positive attitude and outlook sets a great example to the rest of the staff.
Chris thrives in a fast-paced environment, where he finds joy in helping others and creating a positive atmosphere. His ability to effortlessly blend work with fun is contagious, inspiring colleagues and delighting Members and guests.
“When it comes to my job, I enjoy just working hard and having fun in the process,” says Chris “I love making members, my team, management, and guests feel part of this great community. I’ve enjoyed working here and look forward to many more years.”
When not serving the perfect drink, Chris enjoys staying active through workouts and indulging in his passion for video games. He enjoys spending time with his mom, Marilyn, sister Alysia, and nephew, Brenden.
