Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the addition of Emily Bowling, Reservation Manager and Meredith Metcalf, Director of Catering and Sales.
Bowling joins Reynolds with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. Prior to Reynolds, Emily worked at a portfolio of hotels owned by InterContinental Hotels Group gaining a great deal of experience in the hospitality industry. “Growing up nearby, Reynolds has always been a company I strived to work for,” says Bowling. “I’m lucky to be a part of such a wonderful team.” Bowling says she’s excited to get her “feet on the ground and dive into work.”
Outside of work, Emily spends her weekends watching Tennessee Volunteer football and spending time with her family.
Originally from Roswell, GA, Meredith Metcalf graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Business and French. Prior to Reynolds, Meredith worked as the Director of Marketing at The Classic Center in Athens, GA. where she managed the membership program and assisted with the production of events; including fundraisers, weddings, and performing arts. “Reynolds has a reputation of having excellent hospitality,” says Metcalf. “I’m excited to be a part of a company that wants to continually evolve to exceed the needs of their residents and guests.”
In her free time, Meredith is typically found outdoors with her husband either fishing, skiing, or spending time with their family.
“We are excited to bring both Emily and Meredith to the team,” says Tim Hong, chief operating officer at Reynolds Lake Oconee. “With Emily heading our Member Concierge who speak to members and guests daily, and Meredith raising the bar with all Reynolds’ events, both are integral parts to our overall support services mission."
