Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Fourth Quarter Employee Awards for 2018. Mary Cronic, Sales Office Manager, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Peachez Peek, Reservation Sales Agent, and Shelia Bustion, Line Cook at Eighty8 Kitchen + Cocktails, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Mary Cronic became part of the Reynolds family over 30 years ago in November 1988, the same year that Reynolds Lake Oconee officially sold its first property. She worked in the Accounting department for seven years before moving to Sales. As Office Manager, Cronic enjoys the versatility and wide array of responsibilities her position entails.
“My time at Reynolds has brought me many fond memories and lasting friendships,” says Cronic. “I love the incredible people I work with every day and all of the Members I have grown close to.”
When not helping the Sales department run smoothly, Cronic enjoys spending time with her husband, David, step-son, Jonathan, and their three dogs. She also loves to read and play cornhole.
Peachez Peek worked as a Guest Services Representative at Port Armor and a Motivational Circuit Trainer at Curves for Women before joining the Member and Guest Services team in March 2004. Peek often reflects on how the community has evolved over the years, transforming from a place just known for its prestigious golf, to one of family enjoyment and a great getaway.
“My role at Reynolds has changed slightly over the years and just recently in the past year,” says Peek. “I not only continue to grow relationships with our Members, I now have the opportunity to welcome guests from all over the world, allowing them to experience the amazing lifestyle Reynolds Lake Oconee has to offer.”
When not making reservations, Peek likes to travel, sing, dance, shop for shoes, and spend time with her significant other. She also is active in several community groups, including Traveling Divas and the Forbidden Fruit Dance Group.
Shelia Bustion joined the culinary team at Reynolds in September 1997, after time spent as a stay-at-home mother to her two daughters, Natalie and Brianna. As a Line Cook, Bustion prepares and cooks both breakfast and dinner at Eighty8 Kitchen + Cocktails.
“I just love people, whether it is co-workers, Members, or guests,” says Bustion. “I enjoy being able to interact with them and prepare tasty food for them to enjoy.”
When not whipping up Southern comfort food, Bustion looks forward to time spent with her husband, Douglas, daughters, granddaughter, Nadiya, 8, as well as caring for her special needs sister. She is also highly involved in her church, Pinkentur Grove Baptist.
