With spring arriving and Masters Week underway, Reynolds Lake Oconee is proud to announce the completion of the first phase of The National Golf Village. This weekend, over 400 members enjoyed a special reception to preview the new “Golf House” and “The Market” snack bar before its official opening. Staff members at The National were on hand to tour members throughout the facility.
Chef Leonard, CMC, brought his newest signature menu items for sampling in The Market and Head Golf Professional Mike Raymond and the entire professional team showcased the newest in golf fashion at the Golf House, including never before seen lines such as Turtleson, along with best sellers Ashworth and adidas.
Guests also were able to see progress being made on The National Tavern. This new casual restaurant and lounge, with views of the ninth green, pond and event lawn, will feature an island bar, casual dining areas, and be an amenity that can be enjoyed by members of all ages. Features more commonly associated with residential architecture, including wrap-around porches, porch swings and a fire pit will help create a welcoming ambiance that encourages engagement and conversation amongst friends.
The National Golf Village is the 6th clubhouse at Reynolds Lake Oconee and just like the others, holds its own individual personality. The new collection of buildings expresses both the casual elegance of Reynolds Lake Oconee and the rustic charm of the region’s historical architecture. Make sure to come by this month to see this great new amenity as it reaches its final phase of development!
