Now in its second season, Anglers and AppetitesAnglers and Appetites is a fresh, fast-paced and family-friendly fishing and culinary show hosted by Dave Zelski and Phil Proctor of Georgia Traveler fame. Dave and Phil travel the nation visiting the most intriguing destinations to dine, cast a line, and have a good time. This week, Anglers and Appetites debuts a brand new episode: “Lake Oconee Fish & Grits at Reynolds Lake Oconee & The Ritz.” (broadcast schedule below)
Filmed this summer in Georgia’s Greene County, the episode will feature Dave angling for bass with Reynolds Lake Oconee member Ken Woodring and renowned fishing guide Norris Edge. Then Phil joins Bill Greenwald, chef de cuisine at the Plantation Grille and Andy Litherland, executive chef of The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee for a pair of cooking demonstrations guaranteed to leave your mouth watering.
As if that weren’t enough, Dave and Phil receive an impromptu (and dare we say much-needed) golf lesson from Reynolds Lake Oconee’s own Ryan Frisch, try their hand at watersports on Lake Oconee and take-in all the charm and beauty of historic downtown Greensboro.
