Reynolds Plantation Properties is pleased to announce Ron Kalpak and Don Weir as the Sales Team of the Year for 2014. With 25 total transactions, the team earned the highest numbers for the company. Aside from their annual marks, the duo finished their year strong earning Sales Team of the Month honors in December as well.
Having moved from Lilburn, GA, Ron Kalpak has been an active member and resident of Reynolds Lake Oconee and the Lake Oconee area for 24 years. “Moving to Reynolds afforded me the opportunity to work and live in a community that is defined by so many of the things I love to do – tennis, golf, and fishing,” says Kalpak. “Because of the constant growth of Reynolds Lake Oconee, new groups, clubs, and people provide my family and me with a fresh menu of things to do almost daily.”
Kalpak and his wife, Heidi, met nearly 10 years after he relocated to the area. Since then, he and Heidi have become proud parents to two daughters, Niah and Love, who both attend Lake Oconee Academy. With over 22 years of real estate experience, Kalpak is a multi-year recipient of the Lake Country Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club Award and the 2014 top transaction producer by an individual sales professional for Reynolds Plantation Properties.
Don Weir and his wife, Sarah have previously resided in major cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Turin, Italy, but chose to make Reynolds Lake Oconee their permanent home in 1997. “The unique golf and lake lifestyle with its world-class amenities attracted Sarah and me from the start,” says Weir. “The special people within the community, both inside and outside the gates, really sold us.”
A two-time winner of the Effie Award from the American Marketing Association, Weir brings 10 years of real estate experience, including 5 years as a real estate developer. Aside from selling, Weir and his wife are very instrumental in the local arts scene. Between the two of them, they have been involved with the Reynolds Chorus, The Plaza Arts Center, and over 30 cultural performances for the lake area residents.
“2014 was a fantastic year for Ron and Don,” says Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales at Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties. “What is great about these two is that they moved here after they fell in love with the area and the people of this community. I’m excited at the level of interest we’re already receiving from prospects for the month of January and I expect great things from these two in the New Year as well.”
