Picture your ideal office. Perhaps you thrive off the energy of an open workspace, or you are most efficient as a cubicle dweller.
What about a four bedroom, 4,754 square foot designer home?
For the Reynolds Lake Oconee Model Home Hostesses Paige Poppell and Joy Wright, a day at the office means a day in two brand new Signature Homes. Rather than greeting coworkers and checking emails, the hostesses’ day begins with opening the two adjacent homes, turning on lights, stocking marketing materials, and ensuring everything is spic and span and ready for the day’s visitors.
“Our job as Model Home Hostesses is really to represent Reynolds to all guests,” says Wright. “We do this by welcoming each visitor and sharing with them the particulars of the homes, and telling them about all the wonderful aspects of our community.”
While current Members frequently visit the models with guests or to gain inspiration for their own building or remodeling projects, most model home visitors have never before been beyond the gates. The models are the first stop on their visit, with the hostesses being their first interaction with the Reynolds community.
“For these guests, the models are their first impression, so we want everything to be perfect,” Poppell explains. “We walk newcomers through our map of the property, explain all the amenities available to Members, and give them a firsthand account of the Reynolds lifestyle.”
