Reynolds Lake Oconee is proud to announce Eric Gessner as the Director of Tennis, where he will oversee operations and maintenance of the Tennis department.
Originally from Michigan, Gessner’s love for the game of tennis began at a young age. He played through high school and college at the University of Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan University, and was ranked nationally. Gessner’s career with PBI began in 1996 in Palm Desert, CA. Throughout the years, he has worked with many resorts including those in the US Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, Arizona, and Texas.
“Throughout my years working for various resorts, I can still honestly say my passion is in teaching and playing,” says Gessner. “I am looking forward to getting the chance to do both of those things here at Reynolds.”
When not teaching or playing his favorite game, Gessner enjoys spending time with his wife, Alisa, and their two children – daughter Soleil and son Noah. In the coming weeks, Gessner is planning to get acquainted with the members of Reynolds as well as the community as a whole.
“Eric is a great addition to the Reynolds family, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with him,” says Scott Cowdrey, Lake Club Director for Reynolds Lake Oconee.
