Another year and another Masters is in the books. Following an exceptional performance by 21-year old Jordan Spieth, many patrons made their way out of Augusta to return home and share their tales about another year full of great golf, blooming azaleas and those famous pimento cheese sandwiches.
But for Reynolds Lake Oconee, the excitement only continued into Monday with their annual Monday After the Masters event. Several golf writers were on hand as special guests of Reynolds Lake Oconee to enjoy the spoils of the property and take part in a little bit of golf action themselves after spending days covering it just over an hour away. Guests’ options included club fittings at The Kingdom, instruction with Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher Charlie King or rounds on one of 6 ½ award-winning courses.
Outside of the exceptional golf offerings, Reynolds was able to offer another special treat. This year, Reynolds partnered with TaylorMade-adidas and the launch of their new Asymmetrical Golf Shoe. Global Footwear Product Director, Masun Denison, and several of the TaylorMade-adidas team were joined by special guests Jason Day and coach, Hank Haney at The Kingdom at Reynolds Lake OconeeThe Kingdom at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Guests were able to meet with Day, after his quick break from the PGA Tour, and a few lucky ones got their own chance to get a few tips from Haney themselves. Guests also got the chance to test the new adidas asym energy boost shoe and learn a little bit about its design and technology from the TaylorMade-adidas team.
